Starting Seeds

Getting a jump start on your plantings is the best way to ensure a steady crop all year long.
Follow these basic steps any time of year to get your next plants ready for the garden. A small greenhouse can help tremendously if space in the house is lacking.
Start tomato and pepper plants in early spring to promote bountiful growth, or get some spinach going before the first frost in autumn to harvest fresh greens for holiday dinners.
With a small greenhouse, you can even start a tropical fruit tree or other warm weather plants that might find a place in the living room.
